FLORENCE & PITTI UOMO

FLORENCE & PITTI UOMO

//As you probably read in the blog earlier in June, we had a planned trip to Florence for a long time. The reason for our trip you can read -> here There were 3 very intense days and now, afterwards, we regret we did not travel earlier and stayed one day extra. It would have given us more breathing space and we could have explored Florence as a city and some other cities around. But drawing lessons from a trip to the next trip is always good, of course we will visit Florence next year too! There were 3 very lovely days as well, I finally met my second half as I longed for massively!

THE FAIR

//The fair itself was beyond expectations and I was very pleasantly surprised, but wishing Florence to offer 27-28 degrees instead of 34 degrees, we would have enjoyed a bit more of the fair itself. The level of the fair was very high since each stand was built as if you would enter a store, very creative and inviting. Even Paul Smith was present at the fair, but unfortunately I missed him but heard that he was a very nice person to talk to.

The first day we arrived to Florence we went to the fair for a quick check out. Not that much people and we left for some drinks.
Here’s my outfit for my first day in Florence.
Dress&Bag – Michael Kors, Sunglasses – Quay Australia, Shoes – Henry Cole

We stayed in a hotel with a view on the beautiful cathedral

Details from our lovely hotel. The king size bed was amazing!

Our first night in Florence we got invited to an event that was held by Oscar Jacobson & Drago.
The event took place at a very beautiful spot in Florence called Flo.
Amazing view!

We started our second day in Florence with breakfast served to our hotel room.
Luxury!

After the breakfast we where ready for our “first” day at the fair Pitti Uomo 92

I loved how my husband presented himself at the fair. Elegant and classy.
I really like the style where a man wears a suit without a tie, kind of messy but still elegant.
I only had one thing in my mind while choosing my outfit, “simple and classy“.
I think I pulled it off, don’t you think?

Jumpsuit – Massimo Dutti, Shoes – Henry Cole, Bag – Furla, Sunglasses – Gucci

After the fair we went for some bruschetta

In the evening we went for some cocktails with our Polish friends near by our hotel. Great company!
Check out their blogpost with a bunch of pictures from the actual event -> HERE
Before we went for these cocktails me and my husband went to the terrass of our hotel to take some pictures and admire the view

Dress – Nelly Trend

On the last day of the event and our trip to Florence we where struggling with the weather.
Or I was more exactly. The heat took me down and I felt so week and I even got nose bleed!
The reaction of the Italians when they see a women in need – dear lord! Like fishes in a sea!

I got taken care of very well ladies 😉 Lucky me that my husband was busy with a photoshoot at that time.. Hehe

While getting to the airport we had to make a change in Milan.
Look at this amazingly beautiful central station!

Top – Zara, Trousers – Massimo Dutti, Bag – Furla, Shoes & sunglasses – Don’t remember 🙂
